pixel

so here she is, the cutest new addition to our lives.
we brought pixel home on friday evening, and i am totally and completely besotted with her. she is playful, curious, shy, and super affectionate. she seems to love all the toys that i made her and has already found her favourite spot under the sofa.

i had no idea how she would settle in, but so far she has been amazing. she already follows j everywhere and as soon as i get comfortable on the sofa, she cuddles up to join me. i'm really hoping that she carries on this way.

i have been taking so many photographs and videos of her (albeit only on my phone) and i'm trying not to post too many on twitter/instagram, but i can't help it!
i have a feeling that she might get her own little spot on the blog pretty soon :)

  6. JESUS She is gorgeous! I cant help but upload photos of Inara! But now I want a ragdoll too! She sounds like she has the perfect temperament! How did you make her toys? We keep buying the stick with elastic and toy with bell ones from Pets at Home but Inara breaks them in minutes! xxxx

    1. hahaha, awh i know!! so far she is being amazing, i hope it lasts! Inara is a mainecoon right? they're meant to be quite similar aren't they? i made her a few things- i knit a mouse, and then used little scraps of fabric to make other mice with string for tails- it will sound mad but i glued loads of lolly sticks (round ones) together and then covered them in string as the stick! she has already broken one though haha xx

  8. Oh she is so beautiful I am so jealous! Make the most of her whilst she is this age, they really are the cutest things! And she has the best name too I love it.

I had two kittens and they used to wind each other up something major. They're nearly 3 though now and are much better behaved. (well I say this but they do tend to tag team small animals and leave their remains in the conservatory for us!)

There's photos on my blog :)
