one ingredient banana ice cream

i found this super simple recipe on this website last week when i was searching for ways to use up over-ripe bananas. i read it through a few times and still felt dubious; ice cream from just a few bananas, really?! however, all the comments said how great it was so i thought i'd give it a go.

you can click through to the website for the full instructions and some seriously yummy photos, but i thought i'd post a simple step-by-step too, just to show how easy it really is :)

i didn't have much in the cupboards to add to the ice cream afterwards, so i just opted for a few tablespoons of milk and then chocolate sprinkled on top. it was crazy how quickly it turned from lumpy bits of banana to an incredibly creamy mixture. i'm definitely making this again soon and i think i'm gonna have to try it with peanut butter- yum!

  9. Oh this looks amazing! I'm allergic to milk and not being able to eat icecream definitely sucks. Next time the craving for something cold comes up I'll reach for the bananas, hopefully we'll get some sun for it :)
