today, after 3 weeks, i’ve finally heard back about my poorly laptop.
vague as the email was, i’m hoping that it will be back early next week.
i like to think that this will mean life will resume some kind of normality- if only in terms of uni work & this blog.
for part of my fmp, i’ve learnt to cross stitch (which incidentally ticks off one of my 2011 wishes) & have decided to try and create something small as a keepsake.
as corny & overused as the ‘keep calm and…’ slogans have become, there is something about them that is just so appealing to me.
i’m trying to come up with the perfect motto… i’m currently stuck between ‘keep calm and be creative’ or ‘keep calm and drink tea’ …decisions decisions!!
tomorrow will hopefully be filled with purchases of new wool too; i’m itching to get the needles out again & start designing some more of my own stuff.

i keep logging on to write a post, but life is just too hectic. i don’t want to force it.
so, in the words of these amazing guys: life goes on, and what i don’t have now will come back again.

i’m sure that i’m a little late on the hype of black swan, and i’m not going to try and write some fancy review.
it’s just that, i left the cinema speechless. completely. and when that happens, i know that a film is amazing.
twisted, intense and horrific, but beautiful and unbelievably enticing too.
if i had known how much of a horror film it was, i would never have stepped foot in the cinema to see it, but i’m so so glad that i did.
three days later, and i still can’t quite get my head around it.
